Deveron Di Maggio
(Deveron Duvall x Gutherzig)
Arabian Warmblood Stallion
16hh
Multiple award winning stallion, Deveron Di Maggio is a consistent producer of award winning progeny under saddle and in-hand at National, State and Royal level.
Deveron Di Maggio’s comprehensive assets, which include his quality, type and correctness, generous temperament, willingness under instruction, outstanding movement and true show presence combine to ensure he has all the attributes to produce sound, trainable performance horses. Reinforcing these qualities with his proven record in the show ring, and importantly the proven record of his progeny, provides potential breeders with a remarkable opportunity.
Di Maggio’s Sire, Deveron Duvall (Summer Storm) is a legend in his own right, named 2006 Derivative Sire of the Year (AHSA) and Royal Show Champion. He sired countless championship winners both in-hand and under saddle at National, State and Royal level. In 2001 his daughter, the Anglo Arabian mare, Yarramee Willow topped the ACE Group Assessment tour Australia wide, to take equal lst from 293 horses entered. Duvall was renowned for his ability to pass on his fabulous temperament and superb movement to his progeny. Duvall was intensely bred to the Crabbet stallion Sindh (imp), a line noted for it's saddle horse qualities as was the Sindh (imp) son, Summer Storm who was instrumental in the foundation of the Australian Stud Saddle Pony Association when it was formed in the 1970's in WA.
Di Maggio’s Dam, Gutherzig (Grand Flaneur) was a Supreme Champion in the show ring herself. All of her foals were in-hand champions at national level or champions under saddle in open competition. Gutherzig is by the multi-talented Grand Flaneur (Flaneur (imp) who competed in show jumping, eventing, harness and medium level dressage, with his training reaching Grand Prix. A champion sire under numerous disciplines, he also produced multiple champion progeny, including Grand Prix horse, Isle of Hinton. Grand Flaneur's full sister, Vagabond Jonquil is the Dam of Grand Prix horse, Roanoke.
