DEVERON DI MOJO

The stunning Deveron Di Mojo had his first taste of showing recently at the WA Arabain Championships in a large field of Part Bred Geldings, JJ as he is known was called forward for Top 5.  Super proud Owner Tasma Harper was wrapped with JJ's first time out who didnt put a hoof wrong. Congraulations Tasma and JJ.

DEVERON MANNEQUIN attended the Goulburn Valley Arabian Show this month with owner Annalee Surinow and sister, Elisa.An incredible start to Mannequin's (Paris) show career and first time under saddle, Paris won many major awards both inhand and under saddle. Shown very capably by Annalee and handler Silvio Galea, the team had incredible success, winning the following awards:

DEVERON MAGGNETIC

The ever consistant DEVERON MAGGNETIC who is in his first season of being campaigned under saddle, is another Deveron youngster who attended his first dressage debut at Werribee this month. As always Magg and Owner Rosie Grove are looking absolutely fabulous and bought in some wonderful marks on the day.

 Good friend, Jo Vee owner of Deveron Monnogram was recently in Perth buying a new float for Dashie.  I gave Jo the opportunity of hoping on Di Maggio and having a feel of the different training.  Jo enjoyed it so much she was planning on taking the Boy home! Glad you enjoyed the ride Jo.

AVELLA DI MARCELLO

Owner Anneliese Shortt recently attended a dressage clinic in Victoria with legend of Australian Dressage, Heath Ryan. Anneliese reported that 'Felix' as he is known had an amazing lesson and that Heath was so taken with him, he wanted more information and photos of  Di Maggio. Heath asked if all Di Maggio progeny had the same temperament and trainability as Felix. Heath stated that Felix was a flying change machine. With a few taps of the whip Felix was starting Piaffe movements which Annelises has never attempted before. Heath commented that Felix had so much power waiting to be tapped into. He said that he sees alot of horses in his clinics and rarely does one pop up with the 'wow' factor that he loves in a horse.

Deveron Make My Day (Skip) and young rider Natasha Moody had another successful weekend. Competing at the Interschools Championship Day and Skip's first attempt at Novice level dressage, they ended up with scores of 65% & 69% to win Novice Intermediate Champion.  Congratulations Skip, Natasha and Owner Abbey Mammers, I think this beautiful boy is aiming for the Olympics! 

DEVERON MATRIX

After a long absence due to injury, Deveron Matrix (Josh) and young rider/owner Tian, were back out competing at Melbourne Jump Club.  Not placing this time but Tian was super happy with Josh's technique and that they are finally competing again.  Photos of Tian and Josh jumping a 105cm class and as you can see by Josh's tail over the jumps, I think he loves it!

Deveron Maggistrate competed at the WA All Arabian on the weekend under Victorian Judge, Jayne Bellchambers.  Claiming Supreme Champion Arabian Warmblood  against some quality horses. Great comments again from the Judge. DEVERON PRIM N PROPER

Congraulations to Karina & Adrian Damschke on the successful debut of  Deveron Prim N Proper who competed at the recent APOB Pony Dressage Championships in Werribee. Broken in and ridden by Lauren Farquhar from Wedderlie Welsh Ponies, Miss Prim as she is known scored a massive 74% for her first ever outing, placing 2nd and 3rd at Preliminary level.

He has finally done it! Deveron Monnogram (Dash) and new owner Jo Gerschwitz attended the Esperance Equestrain Club Training day where they held Horse Agility training. Dash, not a lover of water at all, trusted Jo and finally went into the tarp filled water trough.  Congrats Jo,  looks like you and Dash will be a solid partnership.

Another fantastic result for talented young rider/trainer,  Natasha Moody and Owner Abbey Mammers, with 4yo Deveron Make My Day (Skip) competing at the Barastoc HOY on the weekend.  At Skip's first time out in  the Hunter Ring he took everything in his stride with fantastic results. Skip took the honours of Champion Working Hunter Galloway and Finalist Newcomer Show Hunter Galloway. Congratulations to all connections -another huge achievement for such a young horse.

New Owner, Jo Gerschwitz of Esperance took possession of Deveron Monnogram (Dash) on Friday after a long awaited 4 weeks. 

 

After a huge 8 hour trip to Esperance, Dash arrived in good spirits and the following day gave Jo a calm ride, showing his beautiful temperament. Jo, who has been out of showing and riding for 10 years attended the Esperance Unofficial Breed Show the next day under Judge Karen Mori where she received:

 

1st - Best Presented;

1st - Warmblood Gelding;

2nd - Arab Derivative Gelding;

Top 4 - Overall Champion Gelding. 

 

Well done Dash for showing your class on such a big weekend.

 

I’ll miss my ‘princess’ Dashie to bits. He’s such a beautiful horse but I can’t thank Jo enough for giving Dash a loving ‘forever’ home where he will enjoy 2000 acres of riding and the occasional show in the local region.

 

Well done Jo on a successful show and welcome to the club of owing a Deveron baby! He couldn’t have gone to a better home.

Competing for the first time with new owner Rosie Grove, Deveron Maggnetic attended the Australian National Arabian Championships 2015, with outstanding results for a horse attending his 4th show. A crowd favourite and showing his versitility and temperament, Maggs and Rosie exceeded themselves amongst the best in Australia. 

 

  • Reserve Champion Arab/Arab Derivative Side Saddle

  • Top 10 (3rd) Arabian Warmblood Senior Led Gelding

  • Top 10 Derivative Show Hunter over 15hh

  • Top 10 (7th) Novice Dressage Horse

 

Full credit to Rosie for presenting Maggs immaculately and as you can see there is pure harmony between horse and rider.  Congratulations to all connections.  I believe the Grand Nationals are next on the showing list!

Full sister to the successfull Deveron Maggistrate, Maddamoiselle recently competed at the East Coast Championships 2015 (NSW), taking home Reserve Champion Arabian Warmblood Mare in a super strong field of quality horses. Congratulations to Owner Pam Farragher, we hope to see more of this lady out and about soon.

ESK ROZIE

Owner Pam Farragher had a successful show at the East Coast Championships 2015 (NSW) recently with ESK Rozie taking home Reserve Champion Part Bred Arabian Mare and Champion Preliminary Dressage Horse. A huge feat in such a strong field of both classes.  Congratulations to all involved and I am sure this beautiful girl will be out winning again soon.

ROBALI JAZZTIME

This beautiful young mare ridden by Mel Van Den Berge recently attended the PRARG Summer Series in Qld where she competed in Leg 1 and Leg 3. Leg 1 saw a result of 72.72% in the Prelim for 2nd place and 71.11% in the Novice Test for 4th. Leg 3 was an overall score of 68.69% in the Prelim for 3rd place and 69.22% for Novice which gave her 1st place and Reserve Champion Novice Dressage Horse. Congratulations to all connections on this great achievement. The future looks very bright for this combination.

At the recent Boneo Classic 2015, young rider Natasha Moody and Deveron Make My Day finished with second place in the first round of the 4yo Young Pony Class and won the second round with with a great score of 70.6%. This saw Natasha and Skip recieve 2nd place overall for the Championship, missing out on first place by just 0.06%!!! Congratulations to Natasha, Skip and owner Abbey Mamers on not only a super effort but also looking fantastic. Recently competing for the first time in the Hack Ring, Deveron Maggnetic won the Championship for Large Hunter Hack at the Ballarat Ag Show. This show was also a Grand National Qualifier and Magg is now aimed for this prestigious show with new Owner Rosie Grove. Congratulations Robert, Rosie and Maggnetic, such a great result and Magg will only become more successful with seasons under his belt.

Another Di Maggio youngster made their debut under saddle. Owned by Melissa & Abbey Mamers. Talented young 13yo rider, Natasha Moody took over the ride and competed at his first dressage comp at Boneo Park They achieved great scores in the 4yo Young Pony and  Prelim class to come second in both classes. They are now hoping for a start at the Dressage Festival and hopefully DWTS.......Congratulations to Natasha and Skip as he is known, a great start to this partnership.

Miss Prim, as she is known to her owners Karina & Adrian Damschke is seen here showing off her paces at Wedderlie Welsh Ponies, where she is currently being broken in. She is out of the National Winning Welsh Cob show mare Snowdon Vale Sequince, now owned by Paul & Debbie Clyne.  By all reports she is coming on fabulously and we are looking forward to seeing her out in the showring and Pony Dressage arena in the future

What a successful day for Kim & Nathan. At the recent RASDEG dessage competition, Nathan rode Toozie scoring a 64.1% and 67.5% winning a trophy for High point score and Champion Para Equestrian. Not to be out done, Kim then rode Toozie to take out Champion "Pink My Ride". Well done Kim and Nathan for doing so well in strong classes and to Kellie James who bred and owns Toozie.

Owned by Kathy Cech and ridden by her Daughter Tian, Deveron Matrix otherwise known as Josh, competed recently at an EA Showjumping event in Tatura,  with clear rounds in the 105cm and 110 cm classes to gain a start in the jump off up to 115cm.  Such great results for a young rider and horse. Can't wait to see more from this combination once Tian finishes her exams. Congrats to Kathy, Tian and Josh.

Congratulations to Tori Meyers on winning the Elementary Freestyle with a score of 69.25% yesterday at the 2014 EV State Interschool Championships at Werribee. Tori rode Avella Di Marcello or Felix as he is known and is proudly owned by Anneliese Shortt. A hand injury has prevented Anneliese from riding for 12 months, hence Tori has taken on the ride in the interim and it has proven to be a very successful partnership. A wonderful result!!!!

MIA MARIELLA

Breeder, Meredith Prentice of Victoria is very excited to have her Arabian

Warmblood filly coming out this season.  Meredith bred her mare, Bremervale Marietta to Di Maggio to breed a saddle horse for herself and from what we can see, I think she might have done just that.

 

We wish them well for the coming show season.

Congratulations to Karina & Adrian Damshke with their Arabian Warmblood Welsh gelding Deveron Man I Am, who has been taking out a few bows in the last few months.

 

More recently he attended the Welsh Nationals in Tatura, where he placed 2nd in his led class and the following day took out Reserve Champion Junior Gelding.

 

Darby looked an absolute picture, with lots of nice comments from the judges, so well done to the Darby team, we are sure to hear lots about him in the future.

After being a Broad sash winner in NSW, Deveron Monnogram competed at the 2013 Perth Royal Show and came home with a creditable 4th from a strong field of Derivative Geldings.

 

Such a proud moment for this boy where his future was in question due to a paddock accident at a young age.

2011 Perth Royal Show Champion

 

At the 2011 Perth Royal Show, Arabian Warmblood gelding Deveron Maggistrate won both the Best Presented Warmblood and Warmblood Gelding 3yo and under classes before taking out Champion Combined Warmblood (Supreme).

 

Well respected judge, Roger Fitzhardinge was very impressed with Maggistrate, commenting on his temperament, trainability and cadence.

Assessors' comments were: "Compact, good framed, uphill and well developed for his age."
